Ledyard Charter School is a public high school serving grades 9-11. We are located in the beautiful Upper Valley of New Hampshire. Established in 2009, this school was initially created to engage students who didn't quite fit into the traditional public high school mold. LCS offers students an innovative alternative to traditional public high school education. Our amazing staff are dedicated to the well-being and success of each student. Courses are taught using primarily experiential, project-based learning to enhance retention. We also partner with HACTC to offer students an opportunity for hands-on learning in a career they may be interested in pursuing. Learn more about our curriculum, and graduation requirements.
At LCS we believe a strong connection with family leads to a successful high school experience. Therefore, we have an open door policy for parents and caregivers. We also offer opportunities for volunteering, hold an annual open house, have parent-teacher conferences, family events, and more. View or download our calendar, bell schedule, and student handbook.
I would highly recommend this school [LCS] to any student who has a hard time in a larger school setting. It was the best decision I could have made for my children. I am so glad there is a program like this in the Upper Valley, I don’t know what I would have done without it! "
