Workforce Development

At Ledyard Charter School we focus on soft skills such as responsibility, dependability, accuracy, and punctuality that will be crucial to transfer to any future workplace environments.

We help student develop not only academic skills but those that will ensure success beyond high school whether it is on to higher learning or into the workforce.

We partner with The Hartford Area Career and Technology Center where students gain hands on experience in a wide variety of areas including:

• Autobody

• Motorsports and Customs

• Industrial Mechanics and Welding

• Information Technology

• STEM: Engineering, Design

• Illustration and Media Arts

• Business Administration

• Cosmetology

Students may apply for this program as a junior or senior. Transportation to and from HACTC is provided during the regular school day.
